The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-L3-NN-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power section of compact single-axis servo systems, supplying regulated energy to connected motors and executing motion commands received from the machine control. By combining power conversion, current regulation, and integrated protective functions, the unit supports precise closed-loop speed and torque control in packaging, handling, and printing equipment. Its compact design also helps simplify cabinet integration where space is limited.
Its communication stack is based on MultiEthernet, allowing the same hardware to exchange real-time data over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT without additional option cards. The housing carries an IP20 enclosure rating, so it must be installed inside a cabinet that protects it from accidental contact and airborne contamination. The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110-230 V ±10%, making the device suitable for low-voltage factory grids. During acceleration or braking, the converter can deliver up to 9 A of peak output current to the motor windings.
