The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an automation component, it supplies regulated power and closed-loop control to synchronous and asynchronous motors in machinery lines where precise torque and velocity commands are required. This supports accurate positioning and stable speed control on axes that must respond consistently during changing load conditions. Because power conversion and control are combined in one unit, it can serve as the central drive element for individual machine axes in packaging, handling, and general automation equipment.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 9 A of device peak current during short acceleration events. Thermal management uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is needed in compact cabinets. Networking is handled over a MultiEthernet interface that supports real-time communication with controllers and PLCs. The housing has an IP20 rating for installation in protected indoor enclosures, and the unit uses the BASIC design type indicated by the B code.
For motor feedback, Interface 1 accepts Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 connections, while Interface 2 provides an encoder emulation signal for legacy controllers. The integrated safety circuit supplies STO and SBC functions, allowing immediate torque removal and coordinated brake actuation without additional relays. The unit is Version 1 of the HCS01 line, and it draws its logic power from the connected supply stage so no external auxiliary supply is required. This arrangement allows the drive to process motor feedback directly while also providing a compatible output signal for connected control hardware.
