Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a compact drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the power and control stage between an IndraDrive power supply and servo or induction motors in automated machinery. Within an automation cell, the unit regulates current, monitors feedback, and executes motion commands delivered through a programmable logic controller. This role allows the drive to support coordinated motion in packaging equipment, handling systems, and other machines that depend on stable speed and position control.
A MultiEthernet interface allows the controller to work with several industrial Ethernet protocols without a hardware change. The control section uses the BASIC variant, which provides standard drive functions and parameter sets for general machine operation. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling provided by an integrated blower, so no external ductwork is required. The inverter delivers a peak phase current of 9 A, and it accepts a mains supply of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10%, allowing operation on low-voltage three-phase systems used in different regions. The power section supports both infeeding and fed operation on a common DC bus, which is useful in multi-axis layouts where energy exchange occurs between connected drives. Design version 1 identifies the first mechanical release of the HCS01 line.
Channel one supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, allowing absolute position feedback from Rexroth and third-party motors. When downstream controllers require simulated feedback, the drive provides Encoder emulation signals that mirror incremental encoder output. Functional safety is handled by STO, which removes torque without external contactors. The unit uses an IP20 enclosure, so it is intended for installation in clean cabinets. Feedback compatibility and cabinet-only installation suit centralized control panels where wiring density and signal integrity matter.
