Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. This module serves as the power and control core for single-axis or grouped servo systems, converting incoming mains power into regulated output voltages and coordinating motion commands from higher-level PLCs. In automated handling, packaging, or light machining stations, it provides precise speed and torque regulation so motors can follow programmed profiles without unwanted overshoot. The controller closes the main motion loops inside one housing, which helps the connected axis respond consistently when load conditions change during operation.
Communication with plant networks is handled through a MultiEthernet port that supports several real-time Ethernet protocols without additional option cards. The power input section accepts 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, covering common factory supplies used in North American and international installations. An IP20 housing allows installation inside control cabinets while still permitting direct access to front connections. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling produced by an integrated blower, so external ducting is not required. During rapid accelerations, the unit can deliver a peak output of 9 A, which supports short bursts of higher motor torque before the load returns to its normal operating level.
The control section is classified as Basic, so standard positioning, velocity, and torque loops are already available without added expansion hardware. The unit is built to design version 1, which matches first-generation HCS01 cabinet layouts and related accessories. A certified safety input provides STO functionality, immediately blocking gate drives so the connected motor cannot produce meaningful torque after a stop command is triggered. Energy handling supports infeeding and fed operation, allowing the converter to receive regenerative power from neighboring axes or return regenerated energy to the supply section when the application decelerates.
