The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It conditions three-phase input power and performs current-loop control for a single axis while exchanging status data with the plant PLC. By combining the power stage, logic, and communication hardware in one housing, the unit helps reduce cabinet wiring in material-handling, packaging, and assembly equipment. Its compact layout supports coordinated motion where one drive must manage both motor control and network communication within a limited panel footprint.
Internally, the power stage delivers a device peak current of 9 A, supplying short bursts of motor torque during rapid indexing or deceleration. The input accepts 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10%, so one model can operate on common low-voltage three-phase power systems. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which avoids external ductwork but still requires unobstructed cabinet airflow. Protection is rated IP20, so live parts are finger-safe, but the controller still requires installation inside an enclosure to keep dust and moisture away.
System integration includes a MultiEthernet port that supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT without hardware changes, which simplifies connection to different control platforms. Motor feedback is handled through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing absolute position capture and single-cable motor connection with compatible components.
