Internal Product Review
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller with an ADVANCED control section. Internal air cooling through an integrated blower and 9 A peak current give the controller efficient thermal management and confident output handling. SERCOS III master cross communication paired with STO Safe Torque Off makes this unit an excellent fit for precise, safety-focused motion control.

Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW belongs to the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series and functions as a single-axis drive controller. Within line code HCS01 and design version 1, it supplies regulated power to servo and induction motors while linking the axis to higher-level PLCs. In industrial automation, it modulates torque, speed, and braking energy so machine tools, packaging stations, and material-handling axes can follow commanded motion profiles with repeatable accuracy. This arrangement allows one controlled axis to respond quickly to motion commands while remaining integrated with the rest of the machine control system.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 9 A of peak output current to the connected motor. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. An enclosure rating of IP20 allows installation inside protected cabinets. The power section is paired with an ADVANCED control section, which enables extended motion functions. Its infeeding and supply concept supports regenerative energy flow on the shared DC bus, allowing braking energy from the axis to be fed back into the system during deceleration.
System communication is handled through a SERCOS III master (cross communication) channel for deterministic real-time data exchange between the controller and adjacent drive components. Motor feedback is processed through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, while higher-level controller integration is provided by PROFIBUS. This combination supports coordinated motion control, status exchange, and closed-loop feedback in one drive platform. Motion disable is available through the embedded STO (Safe Torque Off) interface, which allows safety-related torque shutdown without external contactors. The device also communicates its infeeding status so supplied power can be coordinated with adjacent axes on a shared DC bus.
