Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is intended for servo-axis coordination in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines, where it processes motion commands and modulates motor current in real time to keep position and speed within commanded limits. Its compact format suits cabinet installations where space is limited and multiple axes must be arranged closely. This role makes it suitable for coordinated motion tasks that need stable response during repeated starts, stops, and speed changes.
The controller operates from a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, making it suitable for low-voltage control cabinets. Heat generated by the power stage is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so external ducting is not required. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, which means the unit must be mounted inside a protected panel and kept away from conductive dust. The power stage can deliver up to 9 A of peak output current, covering small-frame IndraDyn and compatible third-party servo motors. Real-time command and status data move over the integrated SERCOS III master with cross communication interface, allowing deterministic network cycles and direct drive-to-drive data exchange. Because the unit is not equipped with an internal safety interface, external safety hardware is required when the application calls for it.
The control section uses the ADVANCED variant, which provides additional processing resources for more complex motion functions. Dual feedback sockets accept IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder signals, letting the controller process motor position data without extra converters. The DC bus supports infeeding and regenerative energy return, so the unit can draw power from a shared supply and send braking energy back into the cabinet power structure when the system is arranged for it. This model is Design Version 1, matching the mechanical and electrical layout used in the HCS01 line. Separate feedback handling also supports integration with different compatible motor families.
