The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-S5-NN-NW is an HCS drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Within an automation cell, it synchronizes and regulates servo axes while linking motion tasks to higher-level PLCs and safety circuits. It serves as the current and control stage between the supply section and the connected motor, allowing accurate speed, torque, and position control on compact machine axes. Its compact housing supports installation inside control cabinets where ambient air is already conditioned.
This controller exchanges process data over a MultiEthernet port, so one hardware layer can support Profinet, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT networks as required by the machine. Peak motor current is limited to 8 A, which sets the short-term current available to the paired servo. The power stage accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10%, allowing the same model to serve low- or medium-voltage plants without tap changes. An IP20 enclosure offers finger-safe protection but requires cabinet mounting where dust or liquid exposure is present. Internal cooling is provided by internal air cooling generated by an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. Interface slot 1 receives feedback through an IndraDyn Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2 channel, and interface slot 2 is empty.
The BASIC control section is used in the standard configuration of the drive and supports common motion functions for this platform.
