The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-S5-NN-AW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an AC servo drive component, it regulates the current and voltage delivered to synchronous or asynchronous motors so motion axes can follow velocity and position commands from a higher-level PLC. By combining the power section with real-time fieldbus connectivity, the unit serves as the actuator layer in conveyor, packaging, and material-handling systems.
Electrical supply flexibility is provided through a three-phase input range of 3 × AC 200–500 V ±10 %, which allows the same controller to operate in low- or medium-voltage plants without cabinet rewiring. The power section delivers a device peak current of 8 A, enabling short-duration overloads during acceleration while staying within the intended thermal operating range. An IP20 housing keeps live parts touch-safe inside a closed cabinet, but the unit is not intended for washdown areas. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so the panel layout must allow unobstructed intake and exhaust paths. High-level communication is handled by the MultiEthernet interface, giving direct access to Sercos III, EtherNet/IP, or PROFINET networks without additional option cards.
