The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-NW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS Drive Controller, it serves as the power and control stage between servo motors and industrial PLCs. Its role is to convert incoming electrical power and control commands into regulated motor output for coordinated axis movement. Hardware design version 1 supports real-time speed and torque regulation in packaging cells, pick-and-place axes, and material-handling machines.
It communicates over MultiEthernet, letting the device accept EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT telegrams without extra hardware. This network arrangement allows the same unit to fit control architectures that use different industrial Ethernet protocols. The controller has a BASIC control section, which provides standard motion functions and parameter sets for most single-axis tasks. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet air is drawn through the heat sink and expelled without external ducting. During dynamic acceleration, it can supply up to 8 A of peak current before returning to continuous limits. The power section is designed for infeeding and fed operation, so energy can be regenerated to the DC bus or absorbed from a common supply module as required.
