Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-AA-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It belongs to the HCS01 line and is used to supply regulated power to servo axes while exchanging motion data with higher-level PLCs in automated cells. In that role, it converts incoming electrical power into controlled motor output for positioning and speed-regulated motion. Its compact format suits control cabinets where several motion components must fit into limited panel space without sacrificing axis control capability.
The controller accepts a mains input of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing the same unit to operate on low- or medium-voltage factory grids. Cooling is handled by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so heat is moved through the unit without requiring a separate fan assembly for the drive itself. The power stage can provide momentary acceleration currents up to 8 A, and network communication is handled through the MultiEthernet interface for integration with common industrial Ethernet control systems. The housing is rated IP20, so the controller must be installed inside a protected enclosure and is protected against accidental finger contact rather than dust ingress.
Axis feedback is received through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, and no secondary feedback interface is installed. The control section uses the Basic variant, so safety-related shutdown functions are handled by external equipment rather than an onboard safety interface. This layout keeps the connection scheme straightforward when only the primary feedback channel is required. The unit uses an infeed and fed power supply arrangement, which allows several controllers to share a common DC bus during regenerative operation and helps route returned energy to other connected axes. The drive is Design Version 1.
