The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-AW is a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the central power and logic module in modular motion systems by receiving three-phase line power, conditioning it, and feeding it to connected axes while exchanging diagnostic and command data with the machine PLC. In automated assembly cells, packaging equipment, and material-handling stations, the unit provides precise current and voltage modulation so that servomotors follow commanded torque and velocity profiles without overshoot or drift. This arrangement lets one controller coordinate drive functions and motion response within a compact cabinet-based axis system.
Communication with higher-level controllers uses the MultiEthernet platform, so one port supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and SERCOS III. The power stage accepts 3 x AC 200–500 V ±10% and can supply a peak of 8 A to the motor phases during acceleration. An internal blower provides air cooling to keep the power semiconductors within operating limits. The housing has an IP20 rating, so it is intended for installation inside a control panel. Integrated safety lets the drive interrupt torque through the certified STO channel and manage brakes with SBC. Position feedback enters through the first slot, which recognizes an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 signal for high-resolution closed-loop control.
This converter is supplied as design version 1 and is paired with the BASIC control section for general motion tasks. It belongs to the HCS01 line. The integrated power module is classified for infeeding and fed operation, so it can draw energy from the mains or return excess power to a shared DC bus. The second feedback interface is not equipped, and the option slots are marked NN, indicating that no extra hardware is installed.
