The Bosch HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a digital drive controller. All processing functions on the controller are performed by a basic control section. The controller’s other components include a power section and a control panel. Software features depend on the installed firmware. To ensure that the firmware matches the requirements, Bosch requires separate ordering of the controller firmware. The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW works with a standard control panel that has a digital display and 4-button keypad. Memory on control panel includes 650 byes for the MLD boot program and 492 bytes for the MLD retain variables. A standard control panel for HCS controllers does not support hot-plug. An advanced control panel for HCS controllers supports hot plug and has more memory for data and variables. The rated output of the HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is 8 Amps.
The rated input of the HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is 200 to 500 Volts AC. Bosch has designed HCS controllers for forced-air cooling. The ambient temperature should not fall below 0 degrees Celsius or rise above 40 degrees Celsius. The heated air is released inside the control cabinet. Therefore large cabinets should be used to ensure appropriate inter-device spacing. Horizontal spacing between adjacent HCS controllers is not required. Bosch recommends minimum 90 millimeters spacing on the top and bottom of installed HCS controllers. Protection rating of the controller housing is IP20. The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is equipped with integrated Multi-Ethernet communication. It is also equipped with an integrated multi-encoder interface.
