Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The module forms the power section of a servo axis by converting incoming AC power into regulated DC-link energy and then supplying controlled motor current to rotary or linear actuators. By combining power conversion with axis control, the unit supports deterministic positioning and stable speed regulation in packaging, handling, and assembly systems. It is design version 1 for this power class, indicating the first release of this controller configuration.
The controller operates from a three-phase mains range of 3 x AC 200-500 V ±10%, allowing the same hardware to run on different industrial supply voltages. A peak output of 8 A is available for short acceleration demands before current limiting begins. Internal heat is removed by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, so the unit does not require external cooling ductwork. Network communication is handled through MultiEthernet, which supports multiple real-time Ethernet protocols through one interface. A dedicated safety channel provides STO (Safe Torque Off), which disables torque-producing power to the motor when the safety circuit is opened.
The control section in this unit is the BASIC variant, so optional technology functions are not pre-enabled. Motor feedback enters through Interface 1 by way of an IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, while Interface 2 is unused and remains open for later expansion. The power stage is configured for infeeding and fed operation, which allows DC-bus energy sharing with adjacent axes and supports power return to the mains during regeneration. Application software is ordered separately rather than supplied on the device. This arrangement keeps the controller matched to the intended axis function without adding unused options to the base unit.
