The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-SB-NN-FW drive controller is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It functions as a compact motion-control inverter that conditions three-phase mains power and supplies coordinated torque commands to connected servo or induction motors in automated machinery. As part of the IndraDrive platform, the unit supports axis control, diagnostics, and network communication in production lines and material-handling equipment.

Electrical compatibility begins with the controller’s wide supply window of 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10 %, so one model can operate from low or medium industrial mains without tap changers. From that bus, it can deliver up to 8 A of peak output current, a limit that sets the motor sizes it can support during acceleration. Heat generated by the power stage is removed by an internal blower that maintains continuous air circulation, so no external ductwork is required. System networks attach over the MultiEthernet port, allowing the controller to communicate over supported real-time Ethernet systems. Inside the control section, the configuration marked as BASIC provides core PLC motion functions without optional safety or advanced technology packages. Cabinet installation is aided by the IP20 housing, which allows finger-safe wiring in clean environments.

Application feedback is processed through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, allowing high-resolution position data to reach the drive in real time. Energy is brought onto the DC bus through the infeeding and fed power supply concept, so common supply and regenerative modules can be shared across multiple axes.
