The unit serves as the power and feedback interface between a PLC and a servo or induction motor, translating command data into regulated current and voltage. By combining power electronics with dedicated encoder ports, the controller supports closed-loop torque control for conveyors, packaging machines, and positioning axes used in automated production cells.

Field integration is handled through a MultiEthernet port that supports common industrial protocols, allowing parameter access and diagnostics from plant networks. The power stage operates from a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10%, enabling use on low- or medium-voltage mains without hardware changes. The IP20 housing provides protection against accidental contact, so the controller must be mounted in a cabinet where higher ingress protection is required.
