Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is an HCS Drive Controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The unit conditions three-phase power, regulates motor current, and exchanges feedback data so that servo axes follow commanded motion profiles in automated machinery. Its role is to convert incoming electrical power into controlled motor output while maintaining stable axis response during speed and position changes. It is intended for applications that require compact closed-loop drive control and consistent communication with connected motion components.
The controller accepts a nominal mains range of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing the same hardware to operate on low- or medium-voltage bus sections without transformer adjustment. Inside the housing, internal air cooling through an integrated blower moves heat away from the IGBT stack so full output can be delivered continuously. Peak output current is 8 A, which suits small to mid-frame servo motors used on secondary axes. Network traffic passes through a MultiEthernet port, enabling real-time communication over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT without additional option cards. An IP20 enclosure rating means the drive must be mounted inside a cabinet while remaining protected against accidental finger contact and vertically falling debris.
A BASIC control section handles axis computation. Position feedback is connected through dual IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder ports, giving the machine builder a choice of single-turn or multi-turn absolute transducers. DC bus energy is exchanged with the plant supply because the power stage is specified as infeeding and fed, which supports common DC link configurations that share braking or regenerated power. The unit is Design Version 1. This arrangement supports closed-loop operation with compatible motors and keeps the controller aligned with common IndraDrive feedback options. The safety interface is not equipped, so external safety relays must interrupt the mains contactor.
