Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It conditions incoming line power and generates precisely timed current and voltage patterns so connected servo or induction motors can follow position, velocity, or torque commands. This makes it suitable for automated machinery such as pick-and-place axes, conveyors, and packaging stations where controlled motor response is required during normal machine operation.
This hardware revision 1 unit accepts a mains input of 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10%, allowing operation on 200 V, 400 V, or 480 V factory power systems without a separate step-down transformer. The power stage delivers a device peak current of 8 A, which provides headroom for short acceleration events while staying within the thermal capability of the heat sink. System communication is handled through the integrated MultiEthernet port, which supports several real-time Ethernet protocols through automatic negotiation. The paired control section is BASIC, which provides standard positioning functions but does not include extended technology features. The controller has an IP20 enclosure rating, so it is intended for installation inside a protective cabinet where accidental contact and contaminant exposure are controlled.
Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which supports compact cabinet layouts without external ducting. High-resolution motor feedback enters through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing compatibility with single-turn and multi-turn transducers for closed-loop accuracy. The DC bus uses an infeeding and fed topology, allowing regenerated energy to be shared with other modules in a common-bus arrangement. Its placement in the HCS01 line keeps physical dimensions and connector locations consistent across controllers in different current classes. This variant does not include an integrated safety interface.
