The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-ET-EC-NN-S4-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Installed inside control cabinets, this unit regulates power to synchronous or asynchronous servo motors used in material handling, packaging, and general automation lines. It combines the power section and drive logic so that a paired control section can command speed, torque, and position loops. By integrating the drive electronics, it serves as the electrical interface between factory mains and motion axes.
The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10%, giving it flexibility on global utility networks. Internally, an integrated blower provides internal air cooling, so no external heat sink or liquid circuit is required. Peak motor current reaches 8 A during acceleration, and the drive monitors electrical loading to keep operation within its intended range. Protection against accidental contact is provided by the IP20 housing, which means the unit must be installed inside a cabinet. Network traffic and drive diagnostics are exchanged through a MultiEthernet communication port that supports the vendor’s real-time protocols without additional interface cards.
The unit is Version 1. Its logic slot carries a single feedback channel for Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, enabling absolute position capture without extra converters. A second interface is omitted, leaving the corresponding port blank. The drive uses the HCS01 mechanical frame and must be paired with the control section labeled BASIC so motion functions can be executed.
