Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is used in multi-axis packaging machines, material-handling lines, and general automation cells where regulated power and command signals are required for synchronous or induction motors. The unit helps maintain coordinated velocity, torque, and position in response to PLC-directed motion sequences. It belongs to the HCS01 line, so it can share compatible control sections and accessories within the same platform. The controller also interfaces directly with IndraDrive motion systems.
The power input can range from 3 x AC 200-500 V ±10%, allowing operation from a broad range of three-phase utility supplies. The device can deliver a peak current of 8 A during rapid acceleration or short-term load changes. Thermal management is handled by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which supports enclosed panel installation without extra external cooling hardware. The electronics are built to the IP20 enclosure class for finger-safe cabinet mounting. The unit is hardware Version 1, and its power section can infeed to or be fed from a common DC bus.
Control communication is provided through MultiEthernet, which supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT through the same port. Motor feedback connects through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, and a second feedback channel is not equipped. Functional safety includes STO and SBC, allowing certified shutdown of motor torque and brake power when required. The power section supports infeeding and DC-bus-fed operation for shared energy flow between connected axes. The device uses the BASIC control section in design B, and no additional design features are included.
