The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series and assigned to the HCS01 line. In an automation system, it closes the power and feedback loop between the mains supply and compatible servo or induction motors so axis commands from a higher-level PLC can be executed with stable current and speed control. By processing encoder signals and supervising voltage, current, and fault states, the unit supports positioning, speed regulation, and coordinated multi-axis motion in a compact cabinet-mounted format.
This controller connects to plant networks through a MultiEthernet port, allowing communication over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and other Ethernet-based protocols. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external cooling plate is required for normal installation. The unit tolerates a peak load of 8 A, which allows short acceleration demands without immediate overcurrent shutdown. Its power input is rated at 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, covering a wide range of common three-phase plant supplies. The enclosure carries an IP20 rating, which helps limit accidental finger contact when the controller is installed inside a cabinet. The power stage supports infeeding and fed operation, allowing the module to receive DC bus energy from another unit or return regenerated energy to the front-end converter.
The controller is identified as Design Version 1, and the control section is paired with the BASIC (B) power section. Its primary feedback connection supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 devices, giving the drive compatibility with several common motor feedback formats used in Rexroth motion systems. A secondary interface provides Encoder emulation signals for legacy equipment that requires replicated feedback information. No integrated safety interface is included, so functions such as safe torque off must be handled by external hardware.
