Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It belongs to the compact HCS01 line and serves as the power stage for regulating current and voltage to servo or induction motors in automated equipment. When combined with an external BASIC control section, the unit supports closed-loop torque and speed control in assembly stations, packaging machines, and conveyor systems. Its narrow housing helps conserve cabinet space in installations where a small footprint is important.
The drive has a rated device peak current of 8 A, which allows it to handle short-term load demand within its intended operating range. It accepts a mains connection of 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10%, which supports use across a broad range of industrial power systems. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. For network communication, the unit uses a MultiEthernet interface that can support several industrial Ethernet protocols. Cabinet installation is required because the enclosure has an IP20 rating, which protects against accidental contact with internal parts but is not intended for exposed mounting.
The product is built as version 1 of this design. Two feedback ports accept encoder signals that follow the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 standard, allowing position information to reach the control section without additional converter hardware. Its DC-link arrangement is listed as infeeding and feeded, meaning it can supply energy to a shared bus or draw energy from it, depending on the system layout. The safety interface is not equipped, so any required risk-reduction functions must be provided by external circuitry. This layout keeps the controller focused on motor power conversion, communication, and feedback handling within the cabinet-based drive system.
