Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-S5-NN-FW is a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is classified as an HCS Drive Controller and combines a power stage with a modular control section to translate PLC motion commands into precise motor currents while returning real-time status data. The compact HCS01 frame is intended for cabinet installation where space is limited, and it supports coordinated motion on conveyors, pick-and-place modules, packaging stations, and similar automation equipment. This layout keeps drive and control functions in one compact unit for dense multi-axis cabinets.
The power module accepts a three-phase mains window of 200–500 V AC ±10%, allowing operation on a wide range of plant supplies. It can furnish up to 8 A of peak output current, which provides the short bursts needed to accelerate small IndraDyn motors. Heat generated by the switching devices is removed by an internal air blower, so no external ducting is required. Deterministic motion data are exchanged over a SERCOS III master link, and a second port provides MultiEthernet connectivity for supervisory control and diagnostics. This combination supports synchronized positioning while still allowing standard network access through the controller.
The control section installed on this unit is the ADVANCED variant with design version 1, and it is factory-matched to the power stage. Motor position feedback is accepted through the dedicated encoder interface that supports Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 protocols, so the controller can process common absolute encoder signals directly. An enclosure rating of IP20 means the device must be mounted inside a protective cabinet rather than on the outside of the machine. DC-bus energy is managed in Infeeding / Feeded mode, enabling regenerative energy sharing between several axes on the same system. This helps returned braking energy remain available on the shared DC bus when other axes need power.
