Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Positioned within the compact HCS01 line, the unit serves as the regulated power stage and motion processor in industrial automation systems. It directs energy to attached servo or induction motors and relays real-time status data to higher-level machine controls, allowing one unit to manage both power conversion and motion response.
The device can deliver up to 8 A of peak current, supporting short acceleration or braking transients. It accepts a supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V with a tolerance of ±10%, allowing one model to operate on many three-phase mains systems. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it must be installed in a closed electrical cabinet to limit contact with dust and live parts. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. The control section uses the ADVANCED design, which adds processing capacity for functions such as electronic gearing, axis interpolation, and adaptive parameter sets.
A built-in SERCOS III master channel enables deterministic cross-communication among multiple drives. For controller-level networking, the MultiEthernet port supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT on shared hardware, which reduces the need for separate communication modules. Motor position data enters through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, supporting high-resolution feedback without additional converters. The power section supports infeeding and bus-fed operation, allowing the device either to supply DC-bus energy to neighboring drives or to absorb regenerated power from them in multi-axis machines. The unit has no integrated safety interface, so emergency stop functions must be handled by external safety hardware.
