The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-CC-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a compact drive controller in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It uses the HCS01 hardware format and converts cabinet mains power into regulated three-phase output for synchronous and induction motors. This allows the unit to support closed-loop torque, speed, and position control in equipment such as pick-and-place stations, indexing tables, and conveyor modules. Its plug-in architecture separates the power unit from the control section, which supports modular system design without changing field wiring.
The controller exchanges real-time motion data through a SERCOS III master (cross communication) link, allowing deterministic coordination of multiple axes. Its control electronics use the ADVANCED variant, which provides expanded processing capability for demanding motion tasks. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required in the cabinet. During acceleration, the inverter can supply a peak output of 8 A, which suits small and medium motor applications. The housing has an IP20 rating, so the unit is intended for installation inside clean electrical enclosures where dust and moisture are controlled.
The power section accepts utility feeds from 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10%, which supports operation on a wide range of industrial supply systems. Feedback handling includes a first channel for Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 signals and a second channel for Encoder emulation pulses used by external control equipment. Safety is supported by STO (Safe Torque Off), which disables gate signals to the IGBTs through hardware. The unit uses an infeeding and fed power supply concept within the HCS01 platform and is intended to operate with its designated control section in the modular drive architecture.
