Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-A-CC-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the power and communication interface between an IndraDrive power stage and connected servo or spindle motors, converting control commands into regulated torque and speed output for automated machinery. Feedback signals return through the controller so closed-loop motion remains coordinated during positioning, speed regulation, and other axis tasks. In packaging lines, machine tools, and transfer systems, it acts as the link between the control system and the motor-driven axis.
Incoming three-phase power can range from 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing the unit to operate on many industrial power systems. During dynamic peaks, the power section can supply up to 8 A of output current, which limits the motor size that can be paired without derating. Thermal management uses an integrated internal air blower, which pushes cabinet air through the heat sink and removes the need for external ducting. The enclosure has an IP20 rating for finger-safe access, and motion commands are exchanged over SERCOS III master with cross communication for synchronized multi-drive operation. The controller is part of the HCS01 line and uses the compact 50 mm width frame, which helps it fit tightly spaced control cabinets.
For motor feedback, the control section supports an IndraDyn encoder with Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2, giving the drive access to position data needed for precise axis control. Higher-level data exchange and diagnostics are available through CANopen on the second interface, which adds a separate communication path for integration with external control devices. The unit is assembled with the ADVANCED control section, so no additional option cards are required for standard positioning tasks, and BASIC control sections are not supported with this configuration. Energy exchange with the common DC bus uses an infeeding and fed topology, allowing regenerated braking energy from one axis to be shared with other connected axes. This setup is useful in multi-axis systems where one drive is decelerating while another is accelerating.
