Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-AW, a member of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. This drive controller converts three-phase plant power into regulated output for servo and induction motors used in automated machinery. By combining power electronics, feedback processing, and fieldbus connectivity in a single housing, it streamlines cabinet layouts for packaging, material-handling, and assembly lines. In automated machinery, it serves as the power and control stage between the electrical supply, the control network, and the connected motor. It is suited to motion applications that require stable speed control and repeatable torque response.
Nominal operation is supported on three-phase mains between 110–230 VAC ±10%, allowing direct connection to low-voltage distribution without an external transformer. The controller supplies up to 6 A of peak current for rapid acceleration, while heat is removed by internal blower cooling through the integrated heat sink. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit must be installed inside a cabinet where live parts are not accessible during operation. Network communication is handled by a MultiEthernet interface that supports EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and PROFINET for high-speed command exchange. These network options let the same controller fit different plant communication standards without changing its main drive function. Motor feedback connects through a combined IndraDyn socket, while the second feedback slot and the safety interface are not equipped.
The control section installed on this unit is the BASIC variant, which keeps it matched to the associated power stage. Hardware design version 1 includes a supply stage for infeeding and feed modes, allowing either common DC-bus operation or standalone feeding, depending on the machine layout. The encoder port accepts Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, so it can work with a wide range of synchronous and asynchronous motor families. All logic and communications reside on the compact HCS01 line carrier, and no supplemental option boards are present. This layout keeps the controller focused on core drive, feedback, and communication functions without added expansion hardware.
