The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-AA-FW is a compact HCS drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It combines a regulated power stage with digital control logic to command servo or induction motors used in conveyors, pick-and-place stations, and other automated machinery. Within an automation cell, this unit supplies controlled three-phase power, monitors feedback devices, and exchanges real-time status data with higher-level PLCs to synchronize motion axes with process sequences. Its compact format also suits control cabinets where drive hardware must fit beside I/O, power distribution, and communication modules.

The power electronics accept a mains input of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10% and can deliver a peak current of 6 A, supplying short bursts of torque during acceleration events. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, eliminating external ductwork and helping maintain airflow through the housing. The enclosure carries an IP20 rating, so it must be mounted inside a switchgear cabinet where it is protected from direct contact and contamination. Network traffic is handled by the built-in MultiEthernet interface, which supports several industrial Ethernet protocols without extra option cards. The control section mounted on the power base is the BASIC variant. Position feedback from motors is accepted through the multiprotocol Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 input, while the second feedback slot is not equipped, which keeps the configuration focused on single-feedback applications. Integrated safety functions include STO and SBC, enabling safe torque removal and coordinated brake control directly inside the drive. The controller uses infeeding or fed operation, so it can share a common DC bus or run from its own rectifier.
