Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-S4-NN-FW is a drive controller in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an AC-powered control unit, it regulates servo or induction motors in modular automation lines and processes current, voltage, and feedback signals for coordinated axis motion. The device fits the HCS01 line architecture and is intended for cabinet mounting next to PLCs and safety relays in compact machine panels. By handling dynamic braking and bus communication at the drive level, it supports decentralized layouts while keeping motor control functions close to the axis. This makes it suitable for machinery that needs coordinated start, stop, and speed changes across individual axes.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, which allows connection to common low-voltage factory grids. Internal conversion is sized so the inverter can deliver a device peak current of 6 A during acceleration or short overloads. Heat from the power stage is removed by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. For system networking, the drive uses a MultiEthernet interface that supports several industrial Ethernet protocols without extra communication hardware. Its enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit should be installed inside a clean control cabinet.
The unit uses the BASIC control section for standard single-axis tasks. Motor feedback is read through Interface 1, which supports IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 protocols and allows absolute position data to be processed without separate signal converters. The power section supports infeeding and fed operation, so the unit can return regenerated energy to a shared DC bus or draw power from it during operation. This arrangement is useful where several axes share bus energy and need consistent feedback handling in one compact controller. The hardware is version 1, and no additional special features are indicated in the product code.
