Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-EP-L4-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the link between a three-phase supply and the motors in automated machinery, regulating torque, speed, and position through closed-loop drive algorithms. In an automation system, the unit can coordinate axis motion, apply parameterized limits, and trigger integrated safety functions without external relays.
Electrical and communication functions are integrated into the power section. The drive exchanges real-time data over the MultiEthernet port, allowing use on several industrial Ethernet networks without extra interface cards. Its control section uses the BASIC design, which provides standard motion functions while keeping the footprint small. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet airflow remains undisturbed. During acceleration, the power stage can supply up to 6 A of peak current. The housing has an IP20 rating, so the controller is intended for clean, closed enclosures with limited direct access.
Power is drawn from a three-phase mains feed of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, allowing use on low-voltage lines common to small packaging or handling machines. Rotor position feedback is received through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, so high-resolution data can be used by the embedded control algorithms. Functional safety is handled by STO and SBC, which remove torque and manage the connected brake on command. The energy path uses infeeding operation, which means the device receives its DC bus from an upstream supply instead of rectifying the mains internally. It is design version 1 in the HCS01 line and must be matched with the compatible control-section pairing indicated by the type code.
