Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It links incoming mains power to servo or spindle motors and carries out speed and torque commands from a higher-level motion processor. Built on the HCS01 platform, the unit supports cabinet installation where low-power axis control, coordinated braking, and energy exchange over a shared DC bus are needed. Within an automation cell, it conditions incoming AC power, regulates motor current, and returns operating data to the machine control network. Its compact format also helps when several axes must fit into limited panel space.
On the power side, the controller accepts a three-phase AC input of 110–230 V ±10% and can deliver a peak output of 6 A for short acceleration or regenerative events. The enclosure is rated IP20, so the unit is intended for installation inside a control cabinet rather than direct exposure on the machine. Communication with programmable logic controllers is handled through a MultiEthernet port, allowing the drive to exchange control and status data over industrial Ethernet networks. The controller uses a BASIC control section, which matches the intended hardware configuration for this model.
Thermal management uses internal air cooling from an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required around the unit. The power stage supports infeeding and fed operation, which allows it to supply energy to or draw energy from a common DC rail depending on the system layout. For motor feedback, both encoder inputs accept IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 signals, supporting accurate position capture with compatible motors. The electronics are version 1, and this feedback arrangement supports closed-loop servo operation with compatible motor types.
