Internal Product Review
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller with MultiEthernet communication and a BASIC control section design. Internal air cooling through an integrated blower and a 6 A peak current give the unit an efficient, well-matched profile for light to mid-range motion tasks. A strong choice for streamlined Bosch Rexroth drive applications.

Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power stage for small servo axes and supports motion tasks in factory automation when paired with a compatible control section. Its compact format suits cabinets where space is limited, while the matching control section determines the command and feedback functions used by the axis. By converting incoming three-phase mains power into regulated output current, the unit supplies synchronous or asynchronous motors with the torque and speed commanded by a PLC.
The power stage accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10%, allowing installation on low-voltage lines common in assembly cells and test stations. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which moves cabinet air across the heat sink without external ducting. For networked control, the drive provides a MultiEthernet communication port that supports Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and SERCOS III. Motion control functions are handled by a BASIC control section that inserts from the front of the power module. During rapid acceleration, the inverter can deliver a peak current of 6 A for short periods.
The unit is Design Version 1 and has an IP20 enclosure, so it is intended for installation inside a control cabinet. Feedback wiring connects to Interface 1, which accepts IndraDyn Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback for closed-loop position control. The internal DC bus is supplied by an infeeding or feeding power module, allowing the drive to draw energy from a shared supply section in multi-axis systems. The unit does not include functional safety hardware, so any required safety functions must be provided by other system components.
