The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-CN-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As a compact single-axis unit, it converts incoming three-phase supply energy into regulated motor power and coordinates motion commands from a higher-level PLC. In factory automation lines, the controller executes torque, speed, and position loops for servo axes, allowing handling, packaging, and assembly machinery to follow programmed trajectories while maintaining electrical isolation and protection within control cabinets.
The controller accepts a mains supply of 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, enabling use on standard low-voltage three-phase networks without an external transformer. Its peak output current is rated at 6 A, so the connected motor must remain within the controller’s continuous and overload current limits. Data exchange with higher-level systems is handled through the MultiEthernet interface, which supports multiple Ethernet-based fieldbus protocols selected through software parameters. Position feedback from the motor connects to Interface 1, which supports IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback for high-resolution absolute or incremental encoder operation. The housing carries an IP20 rating, which provides finger-safe protection for internal conductors but requires installation inside a closed electrical cabinet to prevent dust or liquid ingress.
Interface 2 offers CANopen for decentralized I/O or legacy drive synchronization. Heat generated by the power electronics is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which eliminates the need for external fan trays and helps keep the controller footprint small. The unit uses the BASIC control section, which provides standard motion functions without an integrated safety interface. Because the power stage is classified as infeeding and fed, the device can return regenerated energy to a shared DC bus or draw power from it during multi-axis operation.
