Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-CN-L4-NN-FW is a compact drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Placed in the HCS01 line, this unit handles power conversion and closed-loop control for low to mid-power servo or asynchronous motors used in packaging cells, pick-and-place modules, and material handling stations. It acts as the link between the incoming supply and the motor, regulating velocity, torque, and position so automated equipment can follow commanded motion profiles with consistent accuracy.
Its input stage accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10%, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial control cabinets. The inverter can deliver a peak phase current of 6 A, which supports short acceleration demands during dynamic motion. Power exchange uses an infeeding and regenerative supply topology, so returned energy can be handled within the drive system during deceleration. Network communication is provided through MultiEthernet, allowing integration with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or SERCOS III, while a dedicated CANopen interface supports ancillary communication and diagnostics. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, so the controller must be installed inside an enclosure.
The controller is equipped with a BASIC control section and belongs to Design Version 1. Motor feedback is connected through an interface that supports IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1 / 2.2, which provides the position data required for closed-loop operation. Integrated safety functions include STO and SBC, allowing torque shutdown and brake control through the built-in safety channels. Heat is managed by internal air cooling generated by an embedded blower, so no liquid cooling or external ducted air system is required. This arrangement keeps the controller compact while supporting the thermal demands of enclosed cabinet installation.
