The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power section of an IndraDrive system, supplying regulated current to servo or induction motors so that motion sequences in automated machinery follow programmed profiles. By converting three-phase mains power into controlled pulses, the unit closes the electrical loop between the plant's PLC and the connected motor. This makes it suitable for packaging lines, handling modules, and light-duty assembly stations where precise motor control is required.
The controller communicates with higher-level equipment over MultiEthernet, allowing rapid parameter access and synchronized motion commands through common industrial Ethernet protocols. Thermal management uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, and the built-in fan moves cabinet air across heat-sink fins without external ducting. Under dynamic load, the power section can deliver a device peak current of 6 A, enabling short bursts of torque during acceleration. For electrical protection, it has an IP20 rating, which means live parts are finger-safe but the unit must be installed in a closed cabinet. The power input range of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10% supports worldwide low-voltage supplies without tap changes or transformer adaptation.
The unit is Design Version 1, matching the HCS01 line geometry and mounting pattern. Motor feedback signals enter through Interface 1 and support Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 protocols for absolute position tracking. The power stage supports infeeding and fed operation, allowing the module to share DC-bus energy with additional drives in the cabinet. It must be paired with a control section designated BASIC (B), while Interface 2 and the safety interface are not equipped on this configuration.
