Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. This compact drive controller regulates servo axes in distributed automation by converting incoming mains power and coordinating torque commands from a higher-level PLC. The unit belongs to design version 1 and works with a BASIC control section, providing a standardized platform for mid-range motion tasks. It is suited to compact automation layouts where drive functions and networked control need to be integrated within a small cabinet footprint.
The controller operates from a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver a device peak output of 6 A, allowing it to drive small IndraDyn motors without external step-down transformers. Incoming power passes through an infeeding segment so regenerated energy can be returned to the shared DC bus instead of being dissipated. This arrangement supports shared power architecture across connected axes and reduces unnecessary heat inside the enclosure. Real-time networking is handled by the MultiEthernet communication interface, supporting common industrial Ethernet protocols for coordinated motion and control. Functional safety is provided by the dual-channel STO (Safe Torque Off) and SBC (Safe Brake Control) circuit, meaning motor torque or holding brakes are positively disabled during emergency stops. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it must be installed inside a closed cabinet.
Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet airflow requirements stay moderate even at continuous load. Feedback signals arrive through a multifunction encoder socket that supports IndraDyn encoder feedback with Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2. This allows the drive to process position data from several common motor feedback formats used in the IndraDyn range. A second feedback port is not equipped. The controller is identified in the product line as HCS01, and its DC link supports infeeding or fed operation, allowing operation as either a supply unit or a consumer in multi-axis installations.
