Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW drive controller is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the power and control stage between a plant PLC and its servo or induction motors, supplying regulated current and voltage so automated axes can follow motion profiles with repeatability. Installed in a control cabinet, the unit supports coordinated positioning, speed control, and torque control across multiple axes in compact industrial equipment.
The drive has a peak output of 6 A, which provides short-term current headroom during rapid acceleration cycles. It accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10%, allowing it to operate from low-voltage distribution networks without an autotransformer. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external cooling plate is required. The housing is rated IP20, which suits installation inside switchgear enclosures where protection against accidental contact and solid contaminants is needed, but water sealing is not required. Command and diagnostic data pass through the MultiEthernet port, giving access to real-time fieldbus systems such as EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET without additional hardware.
Drive inhibit is handled through the STO interface, which removes torque-producing energy within the power stage without opening the mains circuit. Position feedback is accepted through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 input, allowing compatibility with several common motor feedback formats. A second feedback channel is not equipped, which keeps the interface arrangement simple. The integrated supply supports infeeding and DC-bus-fed operation, so the device can source or absorb energy when used with adjacent axes on the shared DC bus. This controller belongs to the HCS01 line and is intended for use with a BASIC control section.
