The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-S4-NN-FW is a drive converter of the HCS series with a Multi-Ethernet communication module. As a result, it is compatible with multiple Ethernet-based bus systems such as sercos III, EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, and EtherNet/IP. It also has a multi-encoder interface that supports standard encoders with supply voltages of 5V and 12V. These encoders include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the MSM motor encoder, the MSK motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. Based on the EN 60529 standard, this HCS model has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20 as it is resistant to dust ingress and the penetration of solid external objects over 12mm.
For communication with other components of its drive system, the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-S4-NN-FW is equipped with a sercos III cross communication master module. Its maximum current is 6A, and it is designed for control sections in the ADVANCED range. Safe Motion is the integrated safety technology option in the drive converter for all kinds of application-related safety mechanisms.
