Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Designed for small to medium axis drives, the unit manages power conversion and closed-loop regulation for synchronous and induction motors in automated machinery. It belongs to the HCS01 line and supports modular control sections for motion tasks that require precise velocity and position control on low-voltage three-phase mains. During operation, it coordinates motor current and feedback signals so commanded movement remains stable during starts, stops, and speed changes.
For supply, the controller accepts 3 x AC 110 to 230 V ±10%, allowing direct connection to low-voltage three-phase networks commonly found in assembly cells. Its device peak current reaches 6 A, providing headroom for short acceleration bursts without oversizing the inverter. The housing has an IP20 rating, so installation inside a control cabinet is required to protect the unit from accidental contact and solid contaminants. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which circulates cabinet air through the heat sink without external ducting. Energy is exchanged with the DC bus through an infeeding and feeding topology, enabling common-bus operation with several axes on one supply section.
Motion commands and diagnostics move over a SERCOS III master channel that also handles cross-communication between drives. Both feedback ports are factory wired for Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, letting the controller read high-resolution position data from a wide range of compatible motors. This arrangement supports feedback flexibility when different motor families are used on related machine axes. The mounted control section is the ADVANCED variant, and the controller is design version 1. The unit does not include an integrated safety interface, so any required safety-related power interruption must be handled by external equipment.
