Bosch Rexroth’s HCS01 drive converters are highly functional units in the IndraDrive Cs drive family. They are characterized by innovative multi-protocol support, a multi-encoder interface, and a wide power range from 100 W to 9 kW. These drive converters have a broad spectrum of Ethernet-based communications interfaces and still function with traditional communications like the PROFIBUS network. Applications of the HCS01 drive converters include handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, and machine tools.
The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-E-S3-EC-NN-L4-AA-FW is an HCS drive converter model designed to be used with an ECONOMY control section. Its communication module is the sercos III/EtherCAT interface. There is a standard control panel with a single-line display that shows operating states, command and error diagnosis, and pending warnings in the device. Its mains connection voltage requirement is a three-phase AC voltage that ranges from 200V to 500V, and it has a maximum current of 5.0A. It is mounted into a control cabinet because of its compact design, where it is cooled by the internal air within the cabinet.
With its multi-encoder interface, the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-E-S3-EC-NN-L4-AA-FW is compatible with the most common encoder types. These include encoders with 5V and 12V supply voltages and the resolver. This converter's safety technology is Safe Torque Off with Safe Brake Control. It has an Ingress Protection Rating of IP 20 according to EN 60529; hence, it is safe from the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 12mm. It is also touch-proof and resistant to dust.
