The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-PB-NN-AA-FW is a compact drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It coordinates power conversion and axis control so servo motors can be driven accurately in automated equipment such as packaging stations, handling gantries, and light-duty machine tools. The unit combines a power section with a separable control section, which helps organize cabinet space in multi-axis installations. This layout also allows the control electronics and power electronics to remain in a compact, modular arrangement.

The controller communicates with higher-level PLCs through a MultiEthernet port that supports common industrial protocols without additional hardware. Its control section is designated as BASIC, so standard motion functions are available without optional technology add-ons. Heat generated by switching devices is removed by internal air cooling that relies on an integrated blower, which avoids the need for external ductwork. The power stage accepts mains supplies from 3 x AC 200–500 V ±10%, allowing the same model to be used on both 230 V and 460 V factory grids. The IP20 housing is intended for installation inside a protected electrical cabinet where direct contact and airborne particles are already controlled.

Position feedback is processed over the multifunctional Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, allowing the controller to work with several common feedback formats. Cyclic setpoints or diagnostic data can also be exchanged through PROFIBUS when fieldbus wiring is preferred. DC link energy is provided by a shared DC link supply, so the inverter section can operate within a multi-axis group as either a power source or a consumer.
