The controller exchanges data through MultiEthernet, so common industrial Ethernet protocols can communicate with the drive without add-on cards. Heat is removed by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, which helps limit heat buildup in dense cabinets. For position feedback, the first option slot supports IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback, enabling absolute single-turn or multi-turn encoder signals with digital commutation data.
