The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-AA-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is installed in multi-axis machinery to meter power between the plant mains and connected servo or induction motors. In this role, it conditions and delivers controlled electrical power so connected axes can respond accurately to speed and torque commands from the automation system. The unit belongs to the HCS01 line and is configured for a matching control section.
The controller connects to higher-level PLCs through a MultiEthernet interface, allowing parameter access over common industrial Ethernet protocols. It accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10%, so it can be wired to a wide range of factory power systems. Peak inverter output is rated at 5 A, which is the maximum motor current the unit can supply during dynamic load changes. An enclosure rating of IP20 limits installation to switch cabinets that provide appropriate protection from dust and accidental contact. Feedback from motors is handled through the single-cable Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 port, enabling position control without additional converter boxes. Because the enclosure is intended for cabinet installation, the surrounding panel must provide the protective environment required for reliable operation.
Thermal management relies on internal air blower cooling, which pulls cabinet air through the heat sink instead of requiring external ducting. The power section is paired with a BASIC control section, providing standard motion functions without optional safety extensions, and the unit is not equipped with a safety interface or a second feedback channel. This arrangement supports standard motion control tasks while leaving those optional functions outside the controller. DC link energy is exchanged with the plant bus through an infeeding and regenerative power supply arrangement, which supports regenerative operation. The drive is Version 1.
