Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-AW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It belongs to the HCS01 line and represents design version 1 in this product line. The unit conditions three-phase power, modulates motor current, and communicates diagnostic states to supervisory control systems, linking motion axes to plant power in general factory automation, material handling, packaging machinery, and other systems that require coordinated speed, torque, and position control.
Electrical integration is handled over the MultiEthernet port, allowing one hardware platform to accept EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT telegrams without accessory cards. This allows the same controller to fit multiple industrial Ethernet environments. It is shipped with a BASIC control section, so axis functions are limited to standard velocity and position loops and can be extended through software options. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling generated by an integrated blower, which keeps power components within limits without external ductwork. The housing has an IP20 rating, so the controller must be installed inside a control cabinet. Power input spans 3 x AC 200–500 V ±10%, and the inverter can deliver up to 5 A of peak motor current for small servo axes.
Feedback wiring connects to the single-ended sensor port that supports the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 protocols, ensuring position data stays synchronized with the drive cycle for accurate speed and position regulation during dynamic motion. Energy is handled by the integrated converter with an infeeding and fed topology, so the unit can source or absorb DC bus power when paired with neighboring drives. Functional safety is covered by the STO and SBC interface. The second option slot is not equipped, and no additional special design features are included in this configuration.
