The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-AW is a modular drive controller from Bosch Rexroth. An advanced control panel is provided with the drive controller. This type of control panel supports hot-plug i.e. it can be connected to the controller when it is powered on. A standard control panel, on the other hand, must be connected when the controller is powered off. The advanced control panel has 2 MB flash memory for data, 16 MB flash memory for code, and 32 KB FRAM for data retention. The singe-line display shows operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. Using the four keys, the commissioning engineer or service technician can have extended diagnoses displayed and trigger simple commands. The advanced control panel also features a slot for a microSD memory card. Firmware for the control panel is ordered separately.
A firmware type plate attached to the HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-AW contains all necessary information required to identify the firmware version. A device type plate is also attached to the controller and lists the device type, part number, serial number and other important information. A type plate for the control panel is also attached to the controller. The type plate must be checked at the time of equipment delivery.
