The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It coordinates power conversion and motion commands between an IndraDrive supply module and compatible servo or induction motors in automated machinery. Installed inside a control cabinet, the unit processes network data, generates switching pulses for the power section, and executes torque or speed loops that keep conveyor, packaging, and handling axes on profile during production cycles. Its role is centered on single-axis motor control where stable response and consistent communication with the higher-level controller are required.
A communication layer based on MultiEthernet links the controller directly to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT PLCs without external gateways. The power stage accepts a three-phase input of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, covering common plant voltages, and it delivers up to 5 A peak current during acceleration or short positioning events. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so heat is removed within the cabinet layout without the need for a separate ducted cooling path. The mounted control section is classified as BASIC, which suits standard single-axis tasks with a streamlined parameter range. It belongs to line series HCS01 and is produced as design version 1.
Machine-level safety is handled through the integrated STO (Safe Torque Off) and SBC (Safe Brake Control) interface, enabling immediate torque suppression and brake actuation through hardwired channels. Two identical feedback ports process IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback to capture position and speed data for closed-loop operation. DC power is supplied through infeeding and feed-through capability, which allows either standalone use or energy sharing on a common bus.
