This power module delivers regulated three-phase energy to synchronous and asynchronous motors under the direction of a matched control section. In automated production lines, it closes the current loop, supports velocity and position regulation, and links mechanical axes to the plant network so that conveyors, handling gantries, or packaging stations stay synchronized with cycle commands. Because current regulation is handled inside the drive, the connected motor can respond quickly to changing load conditions during indexing and transfer tasks.

Electrical supply flexibility is provided by a mains input window of 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing the same unit to run in low- and medium-voltage cabinets. An integrated blower provides internal air cooling, which helps keep semiconductor temperatures stable without external ducting. Motor position is returned through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, while plant-level controllers can reach the drive through the integrated MultiEthernet port that recognizes several Ethernet-based fieldbuses. The communication path and feedback interface allow the controller to exchange motion data while monitoring motor position without separate feedback hardware.
