It functions as the command and power interface between a PLC and connected servo or induction motors, handling current regulation, fault monitoring, and fieldbus exchange so motion axes can be integrated into automated assembly lines, packaging equipment, or material-handling stations. By combining command processing and motor power conversion in one housing, the unit reduces the number of separate components required for a single-axis cabinet layout.
