Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Installed between the plant mains and a synchronous or induction motor, it converts incoming AC power into a controlled DC link and sends timed switching signals to the inverter stage. In automated equipment, the device provides regulated torque output, monitors axis status, and passes diagnostic information to the higher-level control system. This makes it suitable for compact industrial motion applications that require coordinated motor control inside a cabinet-mounted drive platform.
The controller communicates over MultiEthernet, allowing Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT to be selected in software without additional option cards. Its input accepts 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, which suits low-voltage distribution panels commonly used in compact machinery. The inverter stage can deliver a peak output current of 3 A, which supports short acceleration demand before the drive returns to its continuous operating range. The enclosure is rated IP20, so it provides basic finger protection and is intended for installation inside a control cabinet. For safety functions, the integrated STO channel disables motor torque when the safety circuit is interrupted.
The unit uses the BASIC control section and is supplied in Design Version 1. Position feedback is handled through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, which supports compatible motor feedback systems for closed-loop operation. The second encoder connection is not included, so the feedback arrangement is limited to a single primary interface. Cooling is provided by internal air circulation from an integrated blower, which removes heat without requiring an external fan assembly. The power stage supports infeeding and common DC-bus operation, allowing energy to be exchanged on a shared DC link with other connected axes.
