Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power and feedback link between an AC supply and Rexroth IndraDyn motors, delivering closed-loop regulation for motion axes in automation systems such as pick-and-place modules, feeders, and packaging stations. Its role is to convert mains power into a precisely metered output while coordinating encoder feedback so commanded position, velocity, and torque targets are met in real time.
The power stage accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110–230 V with a tolerance of ±10%, allowing the unit to be wired directly to low-voltage plant mains without an isolation transformer. Internally, an integrated blower provides internal air cooling, so enclosure heat is removed without external ducting and panel layout stays simple. During rapid accelerations, the controller can deliver a peak output current of 3 A, which is the maximum short-term current available to a paired motor before current limiting begins. The protective housing is rated IP20, which indicates finger-safe terminals and suitability for installation inside a closed cabinet. Network connectivity is provided through MultiEthernet, enabling direct integration with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT topologies from a single hardware port.
The control section mounted on this power module is the BASIC design, so parameter access, safety functions, and processing capacity fit standard point-to-point motion tasks. Power is exchanged with the DC bus through an infeed/feed power concept, so the drive can either return braking energy to upstream units or receive energy from them in modular multi-axis systems. Position data are read through dual-channel IndraDyn Hiperface / EnDat 2.1 / 2.2 encoder inputs, which provide high-resolution feedback without additional option cards.
