One of the product families in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive Cs platform is the HCS converter. Those in the HCS01 series are characterized by their scalable signal processing and firmware and versatility. They are motion control units suitable for machine tools, general automation and handling, and printing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-AA-FW is a compact converter model of the HCS01 series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a maximum current rating of 3A and is designed to be cooled by an internal heat dissipation mechanism where the cooling airflow is within the control cabinet. Like other drive converters in this series, the Ingress Protection of this model is IP 20 according to EN 60529. This means that it is safe from the potentially harmful effects of penetrating solid materials like dust. Operating the drive converter is done with a three-phase AC mains connecting voltage between 110V and 230V. It is best suited for control sections in Bosch Rexroth’s BASIC UNIVERSAL range.
With its Multi-Ethernet master communication interface, the HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-AA-FW allows several Ethernet-based protocols such as PROFINET IO, sercos III, and EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP. It has two multi-encoder interfaces for standard encoders that require supply voltages of 5V and 12V.
