Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is a single-axis drive unit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It conditions incoming line power and manages motor feedback so compact machinery can maintain precise speed and torque control during normal operation. In an automation cell, the unit links the motor axis to a higher-level PLC through Ethernet-based communication while the integrated safety circuit removes torque when a stop condition is triggered. This arrangement makes the drive suitable for compact machines that need coordinated motion, status exchange, and controlled shutdown behavior in one cabinet-mounted device.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10 % and internally regulates that input to a device peak current of 3 A during short-term load surges. Heat from the converter components is removed by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, so no external ductwork is required. All power and signal terminals remain touch-safe inside an IP20 housing, which means the unit is intended for installation inside a control cabinet. Communication with upstream networks is handled through a MultiEthernet port that supports multiple Ethernet-based protocols without added option cards. Two encoder channels accept compatible Hiperface and EnDat feedback signals, allowing the drive to process high-resolution position data for both single-cable and separate-cable motor designs.
The hardware platform is released as design version 1 and is delivered with the control section type BASIC. The unit has an infeeding and fed power section, so it can be used in common DC-bus arrangements within a larger drive system. Safe Torque Off is built in and marked as STO, allowing the drive to remove torque through an integrated safety function. This control section and power module combination forms a compact axis solution for cabinet integration where space is limited and coordinated motion control is required.
